Compton Fibre Newsletter No.3

Dear reader,

Openreach recently told us that work would soon be starting on our fibre project (see email below).

This news came a bit late because, as I'm sure most of you noticed, work had already started in Attwoods Drove, Martins Fields and Compton Street.

Most of the connection work has followed existing routes, either overhead or underground. The engineers working here seemed to think that they would be finished with their phase of the project pretty soon.

This is great news for those of us who are keen to get faster and more reliable broadband. But I have heard nothing to suggest that the final delivery date will come forward from March 2021. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
